Born and raised just outside of Compton, CA , I'm a nut who bursted right out of my mother's womb like I owned the damned world. Not kicking. Not screaming, just ready to be here. I guess that's how it goes when you are born to extremely charismatic parents. My father is a pastor for a Metropolitan Community Church; one of the lone straight pastors in a church that accepts all, especially those in the GLBTQ community. My mother works selling time shares, but both are awesome, warm and loving and brought me up to view the world through open, bright mind. I love them for it, completely. It's hard to find parents that are still together and give a damn about doing good. Everyone loves my 'rents! They're nuts, too!
I went to Cal State for my degree in English, Creative Writing, because we all know how far that gets us in the world today. Sure, high school was a rollercoaster ride of skateboarding, punk music, concerts, girls and illegal activity, but college is where it's at! That's where I got to meet influential, real punks with an education and a self determination unreal. It was exactly what I was turning into at the end of high school. I was the embodiment of self determination and will. College shaped me, in spite of my wonderful college degree, which does not mean I can speak or write proper English, just means I can read well enough and bull shit like no other!
I ended up in Chicago after working for a 24 Hour Fitness as a trainer, but I was looking for something new and different. I was surfing the net and saw a posting that was looking for a Delivery Assistant at a place called Extreme Video & Sound. I sent my resume, was called up and the job was mine! Sadly saying goodbye to the 'rents, and I was in a U-Haul to Chicago.
Enough history? I believe so. Interests? Punk music; old school, new school and pop-punk, working out, watching movies, mature women, getting to know people and activism. I'm being lazy here, not putting all of those details in that some people may want, but that's what talking and instant messaging are for (Screen Name: falcone rising, use it and love it).
